These stuffed mushrooms are savory bites filled with a cheesy, herb-flavored stuffing, perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients
12 large mushrooms, stems removed
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Stuff the Mushrooms:
Fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, pressing the filling in firmly.
Bake:
Place the stuffed mushrooms on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
Serve:
Serve warm as a delicious appetizer.
